1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') protects MessageCrafts customers, message recipients, carriers, and the integrity of global communication networks. It applies to all use of MessageCrafts services and forms part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in traffic filtering, suspension, or termination.
2. Consent Requirements
- Send messages only to recipients who have given valid, verifiable consent appropriate to the message type and jurisdiction.
- Maintain records of consent and produce them upon reasonable request.
- Honor opt-out requests (e.g., STOP keywords) immediately and universally.
- Clearly identify the sender in every message.
3. Prohibited Content
- Content that is illegal in the sender's or recipient's jurisdiction.
- Phishing, deceptive impersonation, or fraudulent schemes.
- Malware, spyware, or links designed to compromise devices or accounts.
- Content promoting violence, hate, or exploitation.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging (spam) of any kind.
4. Prohibited Practices
- Snowshoeing, sender-ID spoofing, or content designed to evade filtering systems.
- Artificially inflated traffic (AIT) or SMS-pumping schemes.
- Sharing or reselling access without written authorization.
- Using the platform to harass, stalk, or harm individuals.
- Attempting to probe, scan, or breach platform security controls.
5. Regulated Industries
Messaging for regulated categories — including financial services, healthcare, gambling, and political communication — must comply with all sector-specific rules in each destination market. Some categories require pre-approval; contact compliance@messagecrafts.com before launching such traffic.
6. Enforcement
We monitor traffic patterns to detect abuse and may filter, delay, or block messages that violate this AUP. For serious or repeated violations we may suspend or terminate service. We will notify customers of enforcement actions where lawful and practicable.
7. Reporting Abuse
To report suspected abuse of the MessageCrafts platform, email abuse@messagecrafts.com with message samples and timestamps. We investigate all reports and act on confirmed violations.
